Rachid (alt. Rachied) El Khalifi, a left-sided attacking player from Dutch 2nd Division (Eerste Divisie) SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden will be on trial with Real Salt Lake next week for half of a week according to this article or 10 days according to this one. El Khalifi is a regular starter for the “A” team of the Dutch club. He is typically a left-sided winger/striker, but can also play on the right-side. The player is currently under contract, but this will expire at the end of the season.
EDIT: Confirmed – he will be with the team from Feb 2nd – 11th in California.
RACHID EL KHALIFI, M/F, Rotterdam, 6’0″, 157 lbs
DOB: 6/16/1979
Last Club: SC Cambuur, Dutch 2nd Division
Note: from the clips below I found myself trying to compare him to Espindola. I didn’t see the finishing or tenacity that Espy was able to bring, but the speed, footwork and delivery of the ball into the box appeared quite nice (although keep in mind that these are highlight clips)

Hey buddy, i dont know what video your watching but to say he doesn’t seem technical enough you have just demonstrated what you know about football. This player looks like a cultured european winger, and if you knew anything about football GOOD wingers just dont go sprinting with the ball into no mans land. They take their time. Watch the video carefully, everytime he dribbles he thinks about where he is going and always has an end product. I hope we sign this guy, coming from the dutch 1st division, which is a much stronger league than the mls he will be a great signing for us.

I don’t know he doesn’t seem as technical for this league. If you look at his first touches off the ball, they look to slow for this level(but prove me wrong). But i enjoyed the pirates of the caribbean song lol.
