KIR SCOUTING REPORT

Williams is an extremely technical player.  He’s not the most physical player on the pitch, but can hold the ball extremely well under pressure.  He also has great vision on the field, and can deliver pinpoint passes from long distance.  His nickname “Bomma” came from his ability to strike with long-range bombs and a high level of precision.  However, RSL fans have not seen much of his long range effort recently.

At the beginning of the 2009 season it appeared that Andy had lost quite a bit of his game.  He entered several games as a late game substitute, and looked to be out of form.  However, late in the season he was an absolute spark, and his creative ability helped Real Salt Lake rally down the stretch, make the playoffs, and eventually win the MLS Cup.
