Misc: Drafted number 15 by Real Salt Lake in the 2010 MLS Super Draft, Collen is seen

as a two-way midfielder with good vision and a great cross from the right wing. Growing

up he played in Colorado’s ODP program and while in college was named to the All-WCC

first team three years in a row.

Collen is viewed as a player that can play both sides of the ball and should prove to be a

valuable asset on the right side of the midfield. He has the vision to play in RSLs tight diamond

midfield or to step out to a more traditional role on the wing. He is known as a superb crosser

of the ball and will provide Real with versatility when on the pitch. At the age of 21 he is a player

who will be looked at as more of a project than a regular contributer through out his rookie season.
