KIR SCOUTING REPORT
Rimando is small in stature for a goalkeeper, which accounts for the main negative about his game: size. Rimando sometimes struggles with the aerial game. He has good reflexes, and instincts but a well-placed ball at the top of the net can sometimes elude him. He is know for his tremendous reflexes. Rimando is also one of the best keepers in the league with the ball at his feet, as he is a former field player. He also has good distribution ability.
During the 2009 playoffs, Rimando showed off one of the best aspects of his game: stopping penalty kicks. He made several saves in the Eastern Conference Championship, and then followed that up with several stops in the MLS Cup helping RSL achieve the title.
